Group Advisory Services

A group education program with a peer advisory board
For those who would prefer to work more independently, the Wardell Mastermind Program combines a group education program with a peer advisory board. Participants are guided through key areas of the Wardell Systemization Program by a Wardell Advisor, learning and implementing changes in their businesses in real-time, alongside their fellow business owners.
What is a Mastermind Group meeting like?
Wardell Mastermind meetings provide confidential group-learning opportunities for business owners around the world. Collectively you will work through the Wardell Program to implement the strategy, people, and systems necessary to transform your business into a scalable, high-value organization.
Meetings are conducted semi-monthly via video conference, but there will be opportunities to meet in person occasionally as well.
Chaired by a certified Wardell Business Advisor, Wardell Mastermind meetings are divided into three main sections.
- PEER-TO-PEER SUPPORT
Mastermind members share important updates affecting their business at each meeting. They receive direct feedback and support from both their peers and their Wardell Advisor to navigate challenges, seize opportunities, and celebrate wins. - PRACTICAL EDUCATION
Each meeting incorporates real-time work and feedback on key business activities (such as hiring, budgeting, marketing) designed to systemize your business. A standard set of activities for year-one is listed below, but customization can occur, based on the specific needs of the group.
- Corporate Mission
- Strategic Objectives
- Key Performance Indicators
- Position Outlines
- Systemization
- Hiring
- Employee Reviews
- Compensation
- Target Market Profile
- Market Position
- Budgeting
- Sales System
- BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT
In addition to the above, each meeting spotlights a singular member’s business, giving them a platform to share a specific threat or opportunity that the group can help them with. This “deep dive” into the business not only helps the business in the spotlight, it creates a unique learning opportunity for all.
What are my obligations as a group member?
- CONFIDENTIALITY
Your fellow group members may share private and proprietary information with you. It is imperative that you honour their trust by keeping what you hear confidential. Of course, all members (and Wardell Advisors) sign a confidentiality agreement before joining a group. - HONESTY
Be open and honest and expect the same from your fellow members, even if it’s difficult. This is the magic that makes the group work. - PARTICIPATION
You get out of your Mastermind Group what you put into it. So while we fully understand the time-pressures of business, it is important to come prepared and ready to participate.
can i create my own mastermind group?
ABSOLUTELY!
Exclusive Mastermind Groups can be created with a minimum of 6 members. Examples include franchise organizations, industry associations, buying groups, and private equity partners. Simply tell us your needs and we’ll make it work.
how much does it cost to join a mastermind group?
Pricing for mastermind groups are all over the place in the market. So at Wardell, we decided to be as transparent as possible. Of course our fees can vary depending on your unique needs, but a typical Wardell Mastermind Group (including up to 10 non-competing businesses located anywhere in the world) is $750 USD monthly per member with a minimum 12 month commitment.
